Möckel Garten AG (Würenlos)

The Möckel family bought a farm in Würenlos in 1928, which they used as a garden store, and built a nursery next to it. Rose trees and fruit trees were specialties from the beginning. Louis + Frieda Möckel-Obrist worked together with their children in the business and so the foundation stone for the later horticultural department was laid. Möckel Garten AG emerged in 1953 from a division of Möckel Baumschulen AG. Anton Möckel senior managed the Garten AG until his son Anton Möckel junior was trained. Four to six gardeners / foremen for the most part train four to six apprentices each. Gardeners support the various work groups. The office is supervised on a part-time basis. We have about 30% female specialists in our workforce.
