At the beginning of the history of Lashaia öko.logisch (pronounced: laschaia öko punkt logisch) is the desire for independence. Lashaia is a symbol of both the past and the future. The name is reminiscent of the first entrepreneurial ideas, developed in 1996 on an adventure trip through South America. Lashaia is composed of the names of two picturesque landscapes of this subcontinent - Bahia Lapataia and Ushaia.

With the foundation of Lashaia öko.logisch in the fall of 1999, the company's dream at that time became reality and thus stands for the present and the future.
