ONE THING RIGHT AWAY... Garden means much more than just vegetable beds. Rather, it includes the entire area of your property - your "surroundings," as we also call it. This can be: Paths, stairs, patios, pergolas, walls, sandboxes, lawns, gravel, flower beds, trees, shrubs, water features, trellises, decorative features like statues, and on and on.... So, as a landscape designer, I am an "environment designer", so to speak.
