Buzzi Martino (Ludiano)

On April 1, 1987 I founded my horticultural and maintenance company, an activity that I carry out especially in the Biasca and Valli area. In these more than 30 years I have trained several apprentices who have had the opportunity to practice this profession some steps from home, which in some cases gives me great satisfaction. Besides my professional activity, I have been involved in teaching in inter-company courses, I have played the role of expert for landscape gardener exams, I have been a member of the Jardin Suisse Ticino committee and I have been the director of the magazine "Il Giardiniere". My motto is to offer high quality work, taking care of my clients' gardens as if they were my own, always with special attention to biodiversity. A garden is also the "home" of many species of animals such as bees, butterflies, dragonflies, frogs, birds and much more. One aspect I pay special attention to is the proper selection of plants, which must be of the highest quality to avoid species that require frequent phytosanitary treatments or that could become a problem in the surrounding natural environment (neophytes). Even in a garden, each plant has its place and function based on exposure, soil and the space it has to grow vigorously. The right choice will ensure that you can use them and enjoy them for a long time.
