About Us

HISTORY

Baum + Garten AG was founded on June 1, 2000. The start was made with a rented felling mobile, an own rootstock milling machine, a semitrailer with timber crane and a delivery truck. Thanks to the great commitment of all those involved, the new company soon gained a foothold on the Swiss market and was able to continuously expand and consolidate its customer base.

The first major order was clearing work on the airport freeway for the roofing of the national road at the level of Opfikon/Glattbrugg. This work was carried out during the day while traffic was moving and partly also at night.

The range of our services was continuously expanded, also in cooperation with our partner company rund ums grün ag. A major milestone was the construction of our own felling mobile. We put this machine into operation in the summer of 2002.
