Our team consists of 3-6 employees, depending on the season.
Managing director of the garden center Schalbetter is Christian Schalbetter, Dipl. Gardener from Grengiols.

Garden design and maintenance

The design, creation and modification of environments is a large branch of our business.
Our offers: Planting, irrigation, new plants, changes, maintenance, lawn care, grave care, excavation. Here are some realized projects in pictures.

Fruit trees

Every garden lover has the desire to harvest their own fruits and berries and enjoy the self-picked fruit.
During the fruit season from March to the end of April and from October, the garden center has a large assortment of fruit trees. There are about 35 different fruit varieties available, which are available as bushes, half trunks or high trunks. The trees are mostly bare root, but can also be purchased in pots during the summer months.

Ornamental trees and shrubs

Alternating foliage colors, enchanting flower colors, bright fruit decoration, changing autumn colors, impressive growth forms, all these are reasons why deciduous shrubs play an important role in our gardens.
The garden center Schalbetter has a large assortment of trees and shrubs, which are available in various sizes, the plants are of course also delivered and planted professionally.

Conifers

Conifers are extremely versatile.
Whether as specimen trees, hedges, or underplanting, whether in rock gardens in troughs or on graves, conifers cut a good figure everywhere, most ideally in combination with deciduous shrubs and perennials. Especially in the harsh Upper Valais climate, the resistant plants are ideal. In the garden center are available numerous forms and colors of this genus of plants.

Flowering perennials

Where you want to achieve special effects with delicate or bright colors, or where you need to cover entire areas, flowering perennials and cushion plants have a great effect.
Ornamental grasses, ferns, kitchen herbs, wild perennials or ground cover perennials, in the garden center Schalbetter you can choose from about 90 varieties during the season.
