Jean-Jacques Borgeaud Landscape architect FSAP DPLG

A landscape architect trained at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure du Paysage de Versailles, Jean-Jacques Borgeaud founded BUREAU DE PAYSAGE in 1986. Assisted for the time being by two collaborators, Jean-Jacques Borgeaud's approach is based on sensitive analysis and the project process; the attention paid to each site leads to revealing the specific qualities of a landscape in its dynamic development. He enjoys working in a research group.

Collaborating regularly with architects, town planners, engineers and ecologists, his fields of activity include landscape design, the integration of infrastructures into the landscape, the development of green spaces, the long-term management of plant heritage and the rehabilitation of historic gardens. A member of the Swiss Federation of Landscape Architects FSAP BSLA, the Bureau du Paysage is active in both project management and planning, with the necessary complementarity between mastery of the small scale and understanding of large-scale objectives.

Jean-Jacques Borgeaud was a visiting professor at the ENAC-EPFL School of Architecture. Since 2006, he has been teaching design at the Hepia High School of Landscape, Engineering and Architecture in Geneva.
