The nursery of the Bühl Foundation is a recognized organic bud farm and produces according to the Bio Suisse guidelines - and has been doing so for over 25 years. Here you will find beautiful and tasty things for the kitchen and garden. The assortment includes bedding and balcony plants, vegetable seedlings, perennials and herbs. In the sense of ecology and preservation of varieties, we rely on old varieties. We are a ProSpecieRara quality label company.

Production method

We mix soil substrates ourselves, which mainly consists of our own compost. With a handful of exceptions, we produce our plants ourselves on the farm. This means that from the seed or cutting to the finished seedling, balcony plant or vegetable, all the steps happen here with us. We rely on manual labor, with us is still gardened.

Sale

We run a small store where we sell our seasonal assortment of plants and vegetables from our own cultivation, as well as meat, fruit and eggs from our organic farm. The assortment is extended by purchased fruits, vegetables and cheese, of course also in organic quality. A small selection of organic fertilizers, pesticides and EM products completes our range. Some of our food is, thanks to our outdoor refrigerator, 24 hours available in self-service.

Training order

We are both a production and a training company, where young people with mental disabilities or learning disabilities find a training place. With your purchase you make a valuable and important contribution to the promotion and professional integration of young people with special needs.
