Bärlocher Steinbruch und Steinhauerei AG (Staad SG)

For us, it is the "Lake Constance sandstone treasure trove" par excellence, nestled in the beautiful landscape above the Rorschach Bay. The Bärloch quarry is somewhat hidden in the Kreienwald forest between the St. Gallen community of Buchen and the Appenzell town of Wienacht. It is developing a sandstone deposit that will provide material for many generations. We care for and value the quarry with great appreciation for the material it gives us.

The quarry has been owned by the Bärlocher family since 1890. We are committed to managing it as naturally and sustainably as possible. Protecting the area is as important to us as environmentally friendly design. We take care of the flora and fauna in the area. Just recently, we planted 4,000 trees to reforest the area below the quarry. You thrive.

It's not just heavy construction machinery that moves around the area. In addition to production, it's also home to our offices, where we continue to think about stone. We plan processes and carry out specific orders in close cooperation with our customers.
